New upvc door installed in this garage so now these customers have the convince of accessing their garage more easily through their garden in Boston.
This bi fold door installation was no easy job as you can see! We had to extend the opening of the original patio doors that were 8ft wide to 12ft to fit these bi folds.
We Installed a 5m long RSJ beam then I built the pillars from engineering bricks to give it the extra strength then install the doors.
We removed and replaced the porch roof with this new slate roof that has been extended so it over hangs the front bay window. We also fitted new soffits, fascia's and guttering.
We have taken this out building and made it into a warm and useable space. We also built this side lean too with double doors and a loft space.
​During the last wind storm this brick pillar came loose
So today I rebuilt it and also checked all over the wall and repointed any where that was in desperate need of it.
​We built a lean to on the side of this ladies house with a hand build door so this side can now be used for storage.
My customer had asked if I could level out their garden then build 2 retaining breeze block walls and re build the retaining wall next to the steps from red bricks.
The steps on the right hand side had to be completely dug out and designed. They even have a right hand side diagonal cut that makes it sit flush to the existing wall.
So here is todays little brick wall re build for a gentleman that is 100 years old! I hope to get to his age.
