We scrapped out and levelled the garden which resulted in around 14 ton of soil needing to be taken away. But this has to be done to ensure that the sub bases are deep enough which in turn meens no sinkages.
We extended the patio which may sound very simple…..but looks can be deceiving!
We then laid this grass with a curved boarder as this lady needed a low maintenance garden where she now has a flower bed boarder which is more easier to up keep.
We also laid a cement base for a future shed to go in the back corner and shingled around the base to match the opposite side shingle area.
We completely removed everything from this garden to start with a completely blank canvas. We then replaced the panels to some close board premium panels which has made the garden look brighter. The 2 patios are built with grey Indian sandstone with decorative edging then flower beds to the sides. The artificial grass is a very thick premium grass which feels like soft carpet with thick underlay when you walk on it then I laid sandstone to one side to make stepping stones.
So we have finally finished our current job for my neighbor which was installing some artificial grass around a hot tub, a new fence and pressure washing this patio, replacing any broken or loose slabs and then re grouting. This patio has cleaned up really well and looks great!
This customer has now mentioned he wants a new patio laid on the opposite side so we will be back here very soon! It’s been a pleasure to work for these customers as they’ve been lovely to work for.
The finishing touches are the counter sunk lights around the grass area which gives it an even more modern feel.
